Can't add a Second site and Still so Slow!

Totally fed up with LbF these days. Used to be ok, such a shame it was tinkered with.

I upgraded to 5.06 as somebody said it was so much faster (prev. version was getting slower and slower and it would have been quicker to just keep uploading different design changes!)

It’s not as slow, but it’s certainly still slower than my online site.

I had one site on local. I went to add another and it states it did, shows it in the list of sites and also File Explorer. However, when I click admin or View site I simply get a 404. I stopped and started the site to no avail. I deleted the site and then redid it - still 404. Nothing in logs at all.

Hi @babrees, sorry to hear about the issues you’re running into. Can you please send over the following?

  • OS version
  • Local & Router Logs (found here in the Local app: Help > Reveal Local Logs and Help > Reveal Local Router’s Logs), and the error log (you’ll see it when you click Help > Reveal Local Router’s Logs)
  • screenshot of the 404 error

I apologise for the delay in replying - moving house AND moving server meant things have got behind a tad!

I am no longer getting the 404 error, which seems to have rectified itself.

However, the slowness is driving me mad and seems to have got worse. I have to wait for at least 5 seconds for any page to load or anytime I do a refresh.
