Error installing WordPress

Trying to create a site running PHP 5.3 (5.3.29, as provided by Local), I get the following error:

I’ve tried:

  • To delete and recreate the site
  • To start/stop Local and VirtualBox
  • To restart my machine
  • To run sudo /Library/Application\ Support/VirtualBox/LaunchDaemons/VirtualBoxStartup.sh restart (a possible solution I’ve found somewhere else) which only cause Local to stop working, forcing me to restart my computer once again

I had no problems creating a site with PHP 5.2.4, 5.5 or 7.0 and I’m usually running 5.6 because of our product’s requirements.

The problem seems to happen only with PHP 5.3
