After a gap of a couple of years I recently tried using local again on my Windows desktop. It’s just as slow as ever on my machine. Local looks fantastic and could make life so much easier - but on my machine it does not perform as expected.
This makes me question my intention to switch to Flywheel to host my site. I really like the idea of using the Google cloud platform but I worry it might also not perform as well as expected.
Can anyone in the community offer the benefit of their experience using the new hosting environment.
