Import Failures (MySQL Error 1064)

I often get errors when trying to import WP Engine backup downloads as a new site. I haven’t really been paying attention to them, but will start reporting them.

Here, failed at the end importing the DB,

I usually just:

  1. create new blank site,
  2. unzip backup, copy in files
  3. import DB directly into SequelPro (Nightly)
  4. cli wp search-replace ...
