Hey @abrightclearweb –
That’s definitely an odd thing to have happen. When I look at the Local log, I’m seeing this error:
Aug 22, 2019, 2:39 PM GMT+1 - info: [main/check-system] Check System: Docker Machine:
{ stdout: '',
stderr:
'error getting state for host local-by-flywheel: VBoxManage not found. Make sure VirtualBox is installed and VBoxManage is in the path\n' }
That’s basically saying that Local is having problems communicating with VirtualBox. This usually happens with Antivirus software, or some other Windows update that will change security settings. A couple of things to try:
- Disable any Antivirus software and try uninstalling and re-installing Local
- Restarting the VM by going to “Help > Restart Local Machine”.
- If that doesn’t work, then follow the steps outlined in this topic to forcefully shut down and restart the VM:
- How can I forcefully restart the Local by Flywheel VM?
Let me know how those things go. If you keep having issues, can you provide an updated version of the Local log so that we can see what additional things are being logged?
