Has anyone here had success using WP Migrate DB Pro with a Local by Flywheel dev env? I want to pull my live db down to my local site every couple of weeks.
What do you do about upload sync? How do you exclude development folders (eg. a theme folder that may have development changes that I don’t want overwritten)?

I use WP Sync DB which is basically the same thing and it works alright with both file and API operations.
Not sure about your folders question, though. It only [optionally] syncs Media files.

I have used WP Migrate DB Pro with Local on several occasions and had good luck with it.
WP Migrate DB Pro doesn’t sync files by default but if you use the Theme & Plugins Files Addon you can use the Exclude Files textbox to manually exclude files.
