If you don’t see a quick fix, please tell me how I can back my db, so I can rebuild the site quickly somewhere else, thanks

Hi @alexadark,

Please try going to Help » Restart Local’s Machine if you’re on macOS. Otherwise, if you’re on Windows, click on the menu icon in the top-left of Local’s main window and go to Restart Local’s Machine.

If you’re still having the same problem after that, please try the steps here: How can I forcefully restart the Local by Flywheel VM?

Sorry for the trouble!

I’m done, I have pass the morning trying to solve that, when finally rebuilding would take less time
I definitively switch back to mamp
cannot afford again losing a day of work and being upset by such a stupid thing!
It’s incredible the number of messages that I see with this type of problem, and no general solution
I have restart the compuer many times, try to reinstall flywheel
desperatly search for the sql folder to get my db back, but it seems this folder doesn’t exist anymore in the last versions
my db has just vanished from a moment to another, it was working yesterday evening, and this morning, then I add to restart my computer for another reason and lost everything
Fortunately it was not something with lot of work from the db
cannot imagine that hapenning
This as just fucked up my day!

@alexadark,

I completely understand your frustration and agree that this is unacceptable.

If you’d like, I’d be more than happy to schedule a call with you to look into why this is happening and to try our best to recover your work. Just let me know via clay@getflywheel.com and we can get a call scheduled ASAP.

It’s kind to you, but this call would have been needed this morning (I’m in europe)
Now I have rebuild the db and working with mamp to avoid risks
I don’t want to lose more time on this
