Problems after uninstalling docker desktop app

Last week, I installed the docker desktop app. After trying it out, I uninstalled it with appcleaner.
First time today that I opened Local again and all my sites are in red with an exclamation mark.
Site container missing, so I did a restore.
Missing host entry, but it seems to be correct in the hostfile.
Can’t get any site started, so I’m getting pretty nervous.

Did an update of Local, but this doesn’t resolve anything.
Can anyone please help?

Hey Ottie –

The Local log has a number of errors regarding missing containers.

Since the v3 version of Local makes use VirtualBox and Docker to manage the Local sites, a tool like AppCleaner may have removed all of the containers that Local needs in order to use the sites.

You might try downloading Local v5 from the Releases page:

Once that has been installed, can you try restoring the sites to new ones in Local? You can use a backup of each site, or try using the files for each site by following the steps outlined in the “Restoring From Only Local Site files” section of this help doc:
