I tried using Flywheel a number of times and, until today, always found it very slow compared to the same site online. As it’s such a convenient and user friendly system I put up with it for a while, then get fed up and move on. Today I tried starting a site from scratch rather than importing one and this worked far better.
I mention this in case it’s useful to others troubleshooting speed issues.
